Rental Agreement of Services:
ARD Event Decor, LLC DBA PrettyPrettyBackdrops Rental Agreement of Services
- Booking & Payment: Your rental is reserved only after full payment or the required deposit is received. No items will be held without payment. Remaining balances are due at least ten (10) days before the event date.
- Custom Items: All custom items, specialty builds, personalized products, or made-to-order pieces must be paid in full at the time of booking. Custom items are non-refundable under any circumstances, including cancellation, rescheduling, or changes to the event date. Client acknowledges that custom foam board signage and large-format printed panels are decorative event materials and may show minor handling marks, slight edge wear, or small imperfections resulting from production, transport, installation, or breakdown. Such minor variations are considered normal and do not constitute damage or grounds for refund or replacement.
- Rental Period: All rentals are for a single-day event unless otherwise arranged in writing. Standard service includes delivery, professional setup (if applicable), and same-day pickup for events lasting up to five (5) hours. Events exceeding five (5) hours are considered extended rentals and may require additional pickup fees.
- Delivery, Setup & Pickup: Delivery fees are based on event location and include transportation, setup (if included), and scheduled pickup for events lasting five (5) hours or less. Events over five (5) hours or requiring overnight pickup will incur a separate pickup fee, typically 60–75% of the original delivery fee. If rental items are not accessible at the scheduled pickup time, a return trip fee equal to the original delivery fee may apply. Additional charges may apply for stairs, difficult access, strict time windows, late-night pickup, parking, tolls, permits, or complex installations.
- Setup & Breakdown: Setup and breakdown are included only when specifically stated in your order. The setup area must be ready and accessible at the agreed time. Delays caused by venue restrictions may result in additional labor charges.
- Weather Policy: Client assumes full responsibility for monitoring weather conditions for outdoor events. If weather conditions such as rain, wind, excessive heat, or other unsafe conditions pose a risk to rental items, ARD Event Decor, LLC reserves the right to decline installation, remove installed items, or refuse outdoor placement to prevent damage. No refunds will be issued due to weather-related decisions made in the interest of safety and equipment protection.
- Client Responsibilities: The Client is responsible for rental items from delivery until pickup. Items must be protected from weather, damage, theft, and misuse. Additional fees will be charged for damaged, lost, or excessively dirty items.
- Social Media Credit: When posting photos or videos of ARD Event Decor, LLC rental items on social media platforms, Client agrees to credit Pretty Pretty Backdrops (@PrettyPrettyBackdrops) by tagging or clearly naming the business in the caption. Failure to provide proper credit does not void this Agreement but may impact future booking approvals.
- Cancellation Policy: Cancellation by 5:00 PM EST up to seven (7) days before delivery results in forfeiture of the forty percent (40%) non-refundable deposit and any custom item payments. Cancellations after that time are responsible for one hundred percent (100%) of the Agreement amount.
- Changes to Order: Changes must be requested at least seven (7) days prior to the event date. Availability of additions cannot be guaranteed, and pricing adjustments may apply.
- Substitutions: ARD Event Decor, LLC reserves the right to substitute items of similar style and quality if the original items become unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control.
- Photography & Promotion: We may photograph event setups for promotional purposes. If the Client does not want photos taken for promotional purposes, they must make such a request in writing before the event.
- Liability: Event Decor, LLC is not liable for injuries or damages resulting from the use or misuse of rental items. Client assumes full responsibility during the rental period.
- Rescheduling Policy: One-time rescheduling is permitted with written notice at least fourteen (14) days before the event. Rescheduled events must occur within six (6) months and are subject to availability.
- Acceptance of Terms: By signing this Agreement via Zoho Sign, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted all terms of this Agreement. Signing through Zoho Sign provides binding and verifiable proof of acceptance.
